My Morning Routine
I follow a lot of bloggers and pretty much all of them have at some point written about their morning routines. They usually consist of extensive use of fancy facial products, some extremely healthy breakfast items, the importance of eight hours of good sleep and possibly a quick yoga sessions before leaving the house. I feel more healthy just writing about it.
Here's my current morning routine:
6.15 am Alarm goes off. Get up in pitch darkness. Put on boots and coat and go to the outhouse. Get back inside and start fire. Simultaneously dress child and self while trying to let husband sleep a while longer. Make an espresso for the road and start car. Feed child breakfast and put her back in bed with her daddy. Try to remember to look in mirror before leaving house to check on status of hair and face put together in darkness.
7.30 am Drive to work in warm car while drinking espresso and listening to NPR
8 am Arrive at office, start checking and answering emails while simultaneously boiling water to increase humidity in extremely dry, desert winter, Fairbanks.
8.15 am Use some of boiling water to make instant oatmeal while taking extra D-vitamin to prevent going nutty in the darkness while applying Vitamin E oil to prevent cold rash on cheeks.

ReplyDeleteUdhus. Gys. Jeg har ondt af mig selv bare jeg skal lukke døren på klem for at hunden kan tisse (og jeg bor "kun" i Michigan). Men man vænner sig vel til det......
