Channeling Energy Fail I
I don't think I have mentioned the weather in a while. And I do love to talk about the weather - it's a big part of living in Fairbanks, Alaska. What's the weather like today? How cold is? How much snow do we have? How much ice rain do we have? How much mud? How much smoke?
It's March and we have a ridiculous amount of snow, cold temperatures and no sight of spring. The sun is shining, birds and squirrels are active again and there are buds on trees, but still snow and cold temperatures as opposed to last year where everything was melting in February.
I am bursting with energy for going outside and doing stuff. Yesterday I bribed, pushed and forced James, Delta and Una to go on a walk with me. It was amazing, minus the tired family members I had forced with me :) Only Delta shared my joy. The skier she chased did not.
We are still transitioning into our new set-up where James works and I stay home. A lot of his work IS at home, so there is some figuring out there. I realize it's difficult to have me around all the time, because I am bursting with full-time work energy I have nowhere to channel. There is only so much knitting that can be done. This morning he actually sent me out of the house. So here I am - in a coffee shop trying to channel my energy into a blog post, after channeling it into household budgets, tax returns and insurance for a while. Next I shall channel it into some wood cutting in my yard I think. Wish me (and my family) luck!
