First Snow and a treadmill?

I feel fairly confident that this layer will stick. It’s winter! And tomorrow I’m 99% certain I’m buying a treadmill from Craigslist. My husband is less than thrilled about this idea, but I for one am convinced this is the answer to my exercise/time/money/baby  problem. It took me 20 months after having a baby to get back my motivation to exercise beyond yoga and walking. And then it snowed, which means I got two runs in before the season ended. I could join a gym, but it’s a drive across town and a two-year contract. And let’s be real, the most realistic time for me to exercise is after 7 pm while I’m on sleeping-baby-watch. So a treadmill seems like a brilliant investment if you ask me. My husband...not so much. Regardless, I am thundering forth and tomorrow I have an appointment to go try a treadmill set up through a craigslist add. So basically I’m going to jog in a strangers living room. And I feel like I will really need to test the thing to make sure it’s worth it. Which has led to some considerations on my part about bringing running shoes to this stranger’s house and changing while there. I feel like it’s going to get awkward. I actually texted the Craigslist person and said it was probably going to get awkward. She seemed nice. The treadmill is the kind that folds so it’s not going to take up that much room. It is fairly cheap so reviews say it might squeak. I hope that’s only with heavier people than me...! I’m super excited. Wish me luck!
