New Orleans

I recently came back from a sister-in-law/family/springbreak trip to New Orleans. (For those of you wondering, it's supposed to be pronounced "Nawlins")
The trip was awesome. We ate a bunch of seafood, filled up on sunshine, and were in great company.
I had a chance to meet J's aunt, uncle and cousins from Louisiana and also reunite with the family from Cali. I'll let the photos do the rest of the talking.

    Just a good ol' fence.

                      Southern style barn.

Aunt Kate and Uncle Bill's house

You can't live on a ranch without some horses.

In New Orleans you can get drive-through daiquiris.
What a great idea: Literally drinking while driving!

Green grass!! (Yes I live where the ground is still frozen and everything is dead)

                      Street music!

                      Oysters!

Wedding pedicures - it was a first for Jesse.

Ready for a Louisiana Southern wedding in a New Orleans Mansion.

    Cali Cousins!

Boiled Crawfish and Shrimp in the park. It doesn't get much better.

                      Guess who caught the bouquet...

I may have had more than one of these RumPunch drinks, which prompted me
to send J this photo at the end of the evening:
