Fall Has Come and Gone

It's been a while. Just about two months - which is much longer than it takes for me to get that itch to write a few words - document my life and share tidbits of what's going on. Una is 8 (8!) months now. Last I blogged was right around when she stopped sleeping at night. If you were wondering about the silence there is your explanation. Blogging stays very far down the list of things-I-must-do-when-sleep-deprived.
Status? Everyones doing awesome. The child can crawl and pull herself up. She does not have a single tooth and still doesn't sleep through the night. She is one big smile 24/7 and looooves phones (to chew on) and sweet potatoes and avocados (also to chew on).
My favorite season of the year has come and gone. It seemed like the leaves turned orange and dropped of the trees within one week and I almost blinked and missed it. Now we are wading through deep layers of leaves, waiting for snow to come. I think it will be a while longer this year.
We are in the process of preparing to go to Denmark. In exactly one month we are arriving in Denmark and will stay for three week - I'm beyond ecstatic to take Una to the homeland. We have practiced plenty as Una got to travel with me for work three times in August-September. She has been to four different states and on 12 airplanes already. Talk about a traveling baby.
We are also preparing for Halloween. I haven't been super excited about dressing up in the past couple years and last year I was pregnant and too tired to even pretend to make an effort. However having a kid to dress up turns out to be a fantastic motivation. She has a skeleton costume currently, but that's only the beginning - we have three more weeks to dress up.
I leave you with this update and a couple of pictures of traveling Una.
